Research interests and projects
I am an animal ecologist interested in research questions about behavioral ecology, evolutionary ecology, and population ecology. Through collaborations, I study wild bird and mammal populations, with a special focus on linking individual life history strategies and their population-level consequences.
I did my PhD in Université de Sherbrooke in the Evolutionary demography and conservation Lab under the supervision of Fanie Pelletier and in collaboration with the Scandinavian Brown Bear Research Project, under the co-supervision of Andreas Zedrosser, from University of South-Eastern Norway. My research on brown bears focused on identifying the causes and consequences of variation in the duration of maternal care, accounting for the particular context of intense hunting in which Swedish bears live. |
